That's unfair, whether this is a good idea from them or not. The thing is masses of people have been denied for those exact sorry's, probably as short as a few weeks ago, before this option was added to the clickbox. However Jagex themselves have always been against apologizing and 'you're banned bye, situation doesn't matter'. I've always been a supporter of (especially) veteran accounts deserving a second chance by just saying sorry (This was 5+ years ago btw, back when that opinion would be immediately downvoted into oblivion).
